At the end of the launching, Minister Abboud said: “The difficult times we’re facing have affected the national economy, and that is why we give the utmost importance to the touristic festivals especially Ehdeniyat International Festival being the only festival held in the North to give a touristic special and positive atmosphere that we hope would prevail in all the regions of the North . It is true we have the Batroun and Jbeil festivals, yet Ehdeniyat has a special flavor, and I salute everyone supporting and working in Ehdeniyat because it spreads happiness, goodness and positivity and helps in the development of tourism in Lebanon”.

In her turn, Mrs. Frangieh wished that the summer season, the season of recreation and rest, would be successful and that the North would stay the title of coexistence and national union. She said: “As Lebanese, regardless of our sects or thoughts, we are all proud of belonging to a dream called Lebanon, it is our duty to give importance to deeds that unite us to help creating peace, joy and prosperity to all. And she concluded saying: “we’d be honored to receive you all in Ehden,(3a Ehden Sharfouna)”.
